Three months after his passing, the cause of former ABC 13 Houston anchor Chauncy Glover's death has been determined. On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office announced the 39-year-old journalist died from acute intoxication by the combined effects of chloroethane and methamphetamine.

Chauncy Glover has been in my thoughts this week, even before yesterday's news that his death in November had been ruled accidental. The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner released a statement Wednesday saying that the former anchor with Houston's ABC 13 who joined Los Angeles' KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV in 2023 died from "acute intoxication by the combined effects of chloroethane and methamphetamine.
