Most of the Chicago area remains under an Air Quality Alert this weekend due to smoke from Canadian wildfires.

While the haze slightly lifted Saturday morning, air quality levels are expected to worsen across the Chicago area over the rest of the weekend.

"The air quality is officially dangerous in Chicago," says Brian Urbaszewski, director of environmental health programs at the Respiratory Health Association. "It's going to send people to the emergency room.
