Amazon is planning to cut 14,000 roles from its corporate workforce as part of an internal restructuring, according to a message shared with employees on Tuesday.

Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) is cutting around 14,000 corporate jobs in a fresh round of restructuring as it looks to become more nimble and focused on its most promising businesses.

The planned cuts, which won’t all happen this week, are expected to amount to roughly 10% of the online giant’s corporate workforce.
