AFC Playoff Picture: Texans take an even bigger tumble following loss to Broncos
Midway through the 2025 NFL season, the Texans are sitting in third place in the AFC South with a 3-5 record. They host the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-3) before hitting the road to take on the Tennessee Titans (1-8), both of which seem winnable on paper, but could be proven wrong on the field without quarterback C.J. The New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers are all reportedly in the market for a running back trade and that could set up a deadline battle between the four teams.
The Dallas Cowboys apparently have a trade in the works as the clock ticks toward the expiration date to make a deal.
The Houston Texans could make a big trade to bolster their group around quarterback C.J. Stroud before the deadline.
