NEW YORK—Indiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin was suspended for one game without pay Wednesday night for making inappropriate contact and verbally abusing an official. The incident happened Tuesday night with 3:58 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Pacers 127-117 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
