Nuclear-armed neighbours India and Pakistan have announced a raft of measures against each other as tensions mount after 26 men were killed in an attack targeting Hindu tourists in Kashmir last month.

As New Delhi and Islamabad engaged in an escalating stand-off following a deadly attack in contested Kashmir, a years-old video resurfaced in posts that falsely claimed it depicted explosions at an Indian ammunition depot targeted by Pakistani forces.

India and Pakistan are scrambling resources both military and diplomatic to respond to a crisis triggered by a massacre in Indian-controlled Kashmir that has heightened fears of a conflict between the nuclear-armed rivals.
