More help is coming to the Detroit Lions offensive line as they are reportedly signing veteran tackle Larry Borom via free agency. A Detroit native, Borom began his career as a utility O-lineman — taking snaps at every position other than center — for the Chicago Bears before solidifying his place as a tackle over the past few years.
When the Lions recently released veteran left tackle Taylor Decker, the natural conclusion was that right tackle Penei Sewell would move from the right side to the left side.
Borom agreed to terms Monday on a contract with Detroit, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
