The Michigan Wolverines dominated on the field at Michigan Stadium on Saturday with a 24-7 home win over the Washington Huskies that had fans and media declaring that “old school” Michigan football is back.

Despite not being listed on the injury report, Moore emerged from the tunnel at halftime wearing street clothes. It is unclear why. The graduate student missed the entirety of last year with a knee injury suffered after Michigan's 2023 National Championship win.

Justice Haynes was injured early and Michigan football struggled to move the ball against a physical USC in a 31-13 loss.

Michigan is in its second season with Sherrone Moore as the full-time head coach. So far under his watch, the Wolverines are 13-7, though UM beat CMU and Nebraska while Moore was on suspension this season.
