The New England Patriots are back on top of the AFC East after Saturday’s big win and the Buffalo Bills ’ loss. Quarterback Drake Maye has led the the way and has the offense looking like the Tom Brady days. Speaking of looking good, his wife Ann Michael Maye crushed her game-day fit once again Sunday.
They finally got one when second-year quarterback Drake Maye connected on a 37-yard touchdown pass to rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams. Maye has looked like the best deep ball thrower in the league all season long. He caught Williams streaking down the sideline and fit the ball perfectly over the top so that he was the only one who could get it.
Quarterback Drake Maye and cornerback Christian Gonzalez are the lone Pro Bowl representatives for the Patriots this season.
Baltimore has taken a commanding double-digit lead after Derrick Henry notched his second rushing touchdown of the night. The Ravens cash in on the botched fake punt by the Patriots, and are surviving without Lamar Jackson thanks largely to Henry, who is up to 128 yards on the ground.
Stefon Diggs factored heavily into the comeback, specifically by defeating man-to-man coverage, which had been a bugaboo for this receiving corps lately. Diggs won through sharp routes and even breakaway speed. Two of his three catches were deep crossers that went for first downs.
Bill Simmons flagged Drake Maye's turnover issues as a problem for the Patriots QB following Sunday's win vs. Ravens.
