As a military parade rolls through Washington, DC, on Saturday – President Donald Trump’s birthday – millions of Americans are expected to protest in what organizers predict will be the strongest display of opposition to Trump’s administration since he took office in January.
Multiple nationwide “No Kings Day” demonstrations are planned for June 14, which is also Flag Day and when the Trump administration will stage a massive military parade in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the U.

The largest is expected to take place in Portland, where at least five separate demonstrations are planned in and outside of downtown. Two downtown events will happen on Naito Parkway. One will gather at the Salmon Street Springs and another will form at the Battleship Oregon Memorial in Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
Protests against the Trump administration, which are set to continue this weekend after a week of uprising that spread from Los Angeles across the country, have energized a portion of the left-wing base that has been despondent since President Trump’s election.
Despite organizers saying the Arizona protests will be peaceful, the consul warned against participation, especially for those without legal status.
