DFW officially hit 100 degrees for the first time in 2025 yesterday and more triple-digit temperatures are on the way Wednesday.

Despite an increased likelihood of evading triple digits, the end of the week has still been noticeably hotter than the start, resulting in a heat advisory Thursday and Friday until 9 p.m. The heat index could reach up to 107 degrees in some parts of North Texas, making the risk of heat-related illness even more severe.
