Osbourne’s coffin, transported inside of a hearse decorated with a purple crucifix and his name in flowers, traveled down Broad Street to the Black Sabbath Bridge and bench, which have long been gathering spots for fans.

In 2019, the city of Birmingham paid tribute to its greatest musical export, renaming a bridge in the center of town after Black Sabbath. Egyptian artist Tarek Abelkawi designed a bench with the likenesses and signatures of all four Black Sabbath members.

Ozzy Osbourne's wife and children led his funeral procession, which traveled through his hometown of Birmingham, Britain. They were met with adoring fans and stopped to look at tributes.
