The busy Padres appear to have landed one of the most coveted international free agents on the market, agreeing to a deal with infielder Sung-Mun Song, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Friday.
The San Diego Padres and Sung-mun Song have reportedly agreed on a contract, according to Fansided's Robert Murray. Terms of the deal have not been released. The 29-year-old Korean infielder was posted last month and had until Sunday to sign with an MLB team before having to return to the Kiwoom Heroes of the KBO League.
