The Supreme Court has not yet ruled on the legality of President Trump’s sweeping tariffs, but some companies aren’t waiting to try to secure a speedy and substantial payout.
Trade lawyers are urging clients to act immediately to get in line for a refund if the Supreme Court declares a sizable portion of Trump’s tariffs illegal.
It’s not clear how that would work or if Trump could afford to do so without worsening the national debt, which he claims his tariffs will also cut.
