Bayern Munich fans have paid tribute to Thomas Müller before, during and after his last home game for the club.

Last summer, Bayern Munich spent €100M to acquire two Premier League players, João Palhinha and Michael Olise. Both players were stars at midtable clubs but wanted to compete for trophies. During the title celebration at the Allianz Arena, both new players wore ear-to-ear smiles the entire day.

While it’s been known for over a month now that Bayern would not be offering Müller a contract extension, the scenes of Bayern’s title celebrations juxtaposed with Müller’s emotional thank you and farewell to the fans provided for moving occasion at the Allianz Arena.
