Turning Point has released a statement, a day after political activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead during a campus event.
The group founded by Charlie Kirk is a right-wing political organization that focuses on motivating young people.
The event, hosted by the University of Houston Turning Point USA chapter, came one day after Kirk, 31, was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University. Kirk was shot and killed while speaking during a debate hosted by Turning Point USA, a national student organization he led.

Kirk had previously held events at UCF, with the most recent one in 2023, and had also spoken at other Florida universities this year.
