"The future of the Capstone is incredibly bright," Peter Mohler said as he was introduced as UA's 30th president.

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees will meet June 16 to consider the appointment of the 30th UA president. The meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Catherine and Pettus Randall Welcome Center Theater on the UA campus. Current UA President Stuart Bell announced his resignation in January after 10 years.

Peter Mohler, an administrator and researcher at the Ohio State University, will become the University of Alabama’s next president. He will begin his term July 21. Mohler replaces outgoing President Stuart Bell,
