Microsoft will soon let you get in-person repairs for Xbox Series X / S consoles at uBreakiFix stores, the company announced today. Microsoft already offers in-person Xbox repairs at Microsoft retail stores,

Said goal has also had a smaller impact on the consoles themselves. According to Microsoft, it has improved how the Xbox Series S handles video, with average reduction approaching 10% in power consumption. The company also recommends using the Shutdown (energy saving) option, which can be found via Settings, General, Power Options on your console.

Xbox console repairs generally aren’t something most owners can do on their own and while there are options out there for a fix, now there’s going to be one more. Today, Microsoft officially announced that it’s partnering with uBreakiFix to handle console repairs.
