The Atlanta Hawks traded Trae Young to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, getting CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert in the deal. Prior to the trade, it was reported that Young had named the Wizards as his preferred destination. He also appeared to hint that he’s officially leaving with a post shared hours before the transaction was reported.
While one or both may be re-routed in the future, the two newest member of the Hawks are poised to replace the offensive responsibilities vacated by Young's departure.
