Head Coach Sean Payton said Friday that Denver expects rookie outside linebacker Que Robinson to return to the field on Monday, while linebacker Dre Greenlaw should also practice next week. Robinson has not practiced in recent days, and Payton said he is dealing with a bone bruise.

In an alarming sight for an already-banged-up inside linebacker room, Dre Greenlaw pulled up with a grimace after covering J.K. Dobbins in team drills.

"Broncos LB Drew Sanders, an up-and-coming defender, suffered a tendon injury in his foot in practice that will keep him out an extended period of time, sources say post-MRI," Rapoport wrote on X. "Sanders is not expected back before the season begins and further testing will determine what's next."
