Flashes this year launched an Instagram alternative built on top of the Bluesky social network. Now available on the App Store, the app offers a different way to browse the visual posts on Bluesky.

Vogelsang says that Flashes is not intended to be a complete rip of Instagram and will not receive many features Instagram has. That makes sense, as the app is just a reskin of the Bluesky app.
