Manchester United and Bournemouth traded blows in a thrilling 4-4 draw that saw Ruben Amorim make the first changes to his formation since taking over at Old Trafford.

Manchester United and Bournemouth staged a defense-optional thriller at Old Trafford on Monday, as both teams tossed aside leads in a scintillating 4-4 draw.

Ruben Amorim's side went ahead in the first half when Bruno Fernandes squeezed home a shot after some dismal Wolves defending. United had dominated the opening quarter but after taking the lead they ceded the initiative to the home side and they responded by levelling in first half added time when Jean Bellegarde turned home from inside the box.

Manchester United's let a lead slip to draw 1-1 at home with West Ham. Any confidence gained from their win at Crystal Palace wasn't evident in Manchester United's early first-half performance. Yet it was still the home side who looked the more likely to break the deadlock.

Bruno Fernandes scored twice and added an assist as Manchester United clobbered winless Wolves 4-1 at the Molineux Stadium on Monday.
