Nurses at a big New York hospital system approved a new contract Saturday, voting to end a major nursing strike after more than a month. More than 4,000 nurses in the privately run NewYork-Presbyterian system went on strike Jan.
According to Keck, the union represents more than 1,400 nurses at Keck, Norris and select clinics. Union officials said the strike is planned to continue for seven days, ending early next Thursday morning. Contract negotiations between the union and USC began in May 2025.
