The father of a 9-year-old has been charged with murder in the second degree and concealment of a human corpse after he allegedly murdered his daughter in upstate New York.
A 9-year-old girl was abducted by an unknown suspect at New York’s Lake George, according to an Amber Alert received by some Massachusetts residents. New York State Police said in the alert that the girl, Melina Galanis Frattolin, was last seen at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday in a white van on Interstate 87 near exit 22.

Lake George, N.Y. — An Amber Alert was issued early Sunday for a 9-year-old girl abducted by an unknown suspect in Lake George. Police issued the alert at about 1:23 a.m. Sunday stating that Melina Galanis Frattolin was last seen at 9:40 p.m. Saturday in a white van going south on Interstate 87 near Exit 22 (Lake George Village).
