A bicyclist died when they were hit by a truck Friday morning in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The crash happened just before 6 a.m. on Hwy. 29 near Cherry Hill Road. Florida Highway Patrol said a bicyclist died after a pickup truck collided with him Thursday night in Osceola County. It happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. at US-192 and Bill Beck Boulevard in Kissimmee.

A bicyclist in Orangeburg County was killed on her early morning ride after she was struck by two cars that fled the scene, police said. Carey Carr, a 46-year-old woman who lived in Neeses, S.C., died in the early hours Thursday from injuries she sustained during the crash, the Orangeburg County coroner said in a press release.

Police said the crash caused the cyclist to land in the westbound lanes of Gravois, where he was struck by three more vehicles. Only two drivers stayed at the scene.

SAN ANTONIO — A bicyclist was hit and killed on the northeast side of town Wednesday morning, police say. It happened around 11 a.m. in the 12800 block of O'Connor Road near Weidner Road. Police said the driver of the green SUV veered off of the road "for some unknown reason" and struck the bicyclist, who was riding on the grass.

Casey Ruppe was previously charged with death by vehicle after police said she hit Jeramie Page as he rode his bike on East Woodlawn Road in January.
