The Buffalo Bills officially signed first-round pick Maxwell Hairston, who is expected to compete for a starting cornerback job.
The Bills have taken care of some important business as they conclude their offseason program. Buffalo announced on Friday that the club has signed first-round pick Maxwell Hairston and fourth-round pick Deone Walker to their rookie contracts.
With one full week of Organized Team Activities already complete, the Bills returned for the start of their second and final week of those voluntary practices. At this point in the spring, most of the players are settling into the cadences of the new year of work,
The Buffalo Bills added a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball this offseason. They not only signed players such as Joey Bosa, Larry Ogunjobi, Michael Hoecht in free agency, but they also spent six of their nine picks in the 2025 NFL draft on that side of the ball.
Buffalo hopes their most recent first-round pick doesn't turn out like Elam. So far, Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston has shown plenty of potential through offseason workouts. And it is exciting coaches, including defensive coordinator Bobby Babich.
