The National Hurricane Center is tracking two weather systems in the Atlantic Ocean – neither of which pose immediate risk to the United States – while Henriette and Ivo wax and wane in the Pacific Ocean.

The storm is forecast to weaken soon before undergoing a period of restrengthening and potentially becoming a hurricane on Monday.

Henriette was a tropical storm in the North Pacific Ocean late Wednesday Hawaii time, the National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory. Henriette is the eighth named storm to form in the Eastern Pacific in 2025.
