TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — A man accused of entering a Walmart in Michigan and randomly stabbing 11 shoppers before being detained by bystanders in the store parking lot is expected to face terrorism and multiple assault charges, authorities said Sunday.

The mass stabbing start near the checkout lanes of a Traverse City-area Walmart store late Saturday afternoon, police said.

A suspect is in custody after police say he stabbed 11 people in a Walmart near Traverse City, according to Grand Traverse County Sheriff Mike Shea.
