Borgen, 28, has registered three points (1G-2A) in 17 games for the Rangers since being acquired from the Seattle Kraken on Dec.
The defenseman was traded to the Rangers by the Kraken on Dec. 18 for Kaapo Kakko. Borgen,  paired with K'Andre Miller, has played well.
