In a friend of the court filing by Harvard law professor Lawrence Lessig, a dozen former employees accuse OpenAI of abandoning its nonprofit roots and betraying the mission that originally attracting them to the organization.

In a filing Wednesday, attorneys for OpenAI and the other defendants in the case, including CEO Sam Altman, called for Musk to be enjoined from “further unlawful and unfair action” and “held responsible for the damage he has already caused” to the defendants.

OpenAI filed a countersuit against Elon Musk Wednesday claiming he has taken "nonstop actions" against the AI giant. The company accuses Musk of using bad-faith tactics to slow down OpenAI so he could control cutting edge AI technology for his own benefit.
