Jackson Slater has seen a quick rise in his draft stock recently and is climbing to the top ranks of small-school prospects.

Jacksonville State has hired former Maryland defensive coordinator Brian Williams to serve in that capacity for the Gamecocks. The university made the announcement on social media Monday afternoon.
