There is another Justin Fields reunion that will happen with the New York Jets. Upon Fields signing in New York, the obvious connection was Garrett Wilson. The Jets' No. 1 receiver and their new quarterback were teammates at Ohio State. The duo also suited up alongside Josh Myers, who is now playing in the green and white.

Fields on Monday agreed to a two-year, $40 million deal with the New York Jets, per multiple reports, the 11th overall pick of the Chicago Bears in the 2021 draft replacing Aaron Rodgers after his ill-fated two-season spell with the AFC East franchise.

The New York Jets have yet to make the playoffs since 2010. Since then, 25 QBs have started for the Jets, and now it looks like Justin Fields will join the club. At 26, Fields will earn his third starting job with his third team.

While a fresh start may prove what Justin Fields needs at this stage of his career, he'll have to show that he can develop as a passer and be more than just a short-term starter with the Jets.
