Adrian Houser allowed three hits in six-plus scoreless innings Monday, but the Chicago White Sox lost 2-1 to the New York Mets at Citi Field.

"His stuff has ticked up this year, which is part of the reason he’s attractive to us and had good results in Triple-A," manager Will Venable said. "We’re lucky to have him."
