Tens of thousands of people have gathered in Beirut to attend the funeral of Hezbollah’s leader nearly five months after he was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a southern suburb of the capital.

Lebanon's Hezbollah will bury its former leader Hassan Nasrallah on Sunday nearly five months after he was killed in an Israeli airstrike, in a mass funeral aimed at showing political strength after the group emerged badly weakened from last year's war.

The Lebanese capital is hosting people from different nations who have reached Lebanon to attend the funeral ceremony of the former Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
