Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said Tuesday that a Green Bay Packers-led initiative to get the so-called “tush push” banned in the NFL is unfair and a “little insulting.”

The Green Bay Packers submitted a proposal on Monday to ban the "tush push," a strategy made famous by the Philadelphia Eagles that includes the team pushing the quarterback in short-yardage situations. Other NFL teams have notably not been fans of this play as it's been hard to combat, and the Packers decided to try to get rid of it.

To me there’s always been an injury risk with that play and I’ve expressed that opinion for the last couple of years or so when it really started to come into play the way it’s been used, especially a year ago,
