The first American Eagle store opened in 1977 in a mall in Michigan. It wasn’t until 1990 that the company created its private-label products, which included men’s boot-cut and worker jeans.

Now, American Eagle and the Ziegler sisters, Maddie and Kenzie, have you covered. Today, July 27, AE launched a new campaign focused on its staple pair of jeans.

KZ: I feel like we were very specific on where the jeans land on us, and we got the perfect jean, which is so nice. It’s so nice that we feel so good about them that we can wear them all the time.
