The Giants on Friday held their eighth training camp practice — another opportunity for prized rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart to impress. So let’s bring you our daily rundown of how he performed, with another practice and then an off day coming Saturday and Sunday.

Best throw: Near the beginning of practice, Dart aired out a pass to wide receiver Montrell Washington on a post route near the 55 yard line. It was good for about a 35-yard gain. The Dart of the first two days of camp never would have completed a pass this clean. Now, he’s good for one or two each practice.
