Tuesday’s National Night Out event in Minot gave kids and adults the chance to sit inside the vehicles and see firsthand what it's like to be in the shoes of those who protect and serve.

Families enjoyed food, games, and police demos as part of a growing nationwide initiative to connect law enforcement with the community.
