The Federal Aviation Administration is learning more after an issue with the engine on the flight from Houston to New York City.

The Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA) reported that United Airlines Flight 1382 aborted takeoff at George Bush Intercontinental Airport because of an engine issue discovered around 8:35 a.m.

A plane carrying 104 passengers had to abort its takeoff from a Texas airport after a fire broke out in one of the wings.

In footage obtained by Fox 26, passengers can be heard screaming in panic as flames erupted from one of the aircraft’s wings while it was rolling for takeoff.
