Tre Harris was picked in the 6th round out of Old Dominion by the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL draft. He started 4 games over two seasons, before a spine injury ended his season in Week 14 last year. He was released by New York with an injury designation, and now joins the Commanders practice squad.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey sustained a broken collarbone in the team's Week 9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Commanders placed McCaffrey (collarbone) on injured reserve Tuesday.
