Bo Bichette hit a two-run homer, Myles Straw and Tyler Heineman each had two hits and three RBIs, and the Toronto Blue Jays beat Philadelphia 9-1 on Thursday, handing the slumping Phillies their sixth loss in seven games.

Turnbull, who spent last season with the Phillies, signed with the Blue Jays as a free agent in May. The 32-year-old has yet to make his debut for the team, however, as he has been on a minor league assignment since signing his contract. As it stands, it remains unclear whether the team will use Turnbull in the rotation or in the bullpen.

The Toronto Blue Jays have put on a show offensively and in the last nine games it’s done something the franchise hasn’t done in 25 years.
