No Kings Day protests against the Trump administration are being held today across the country, with thousands of people attending dozens of events in the Bay Area.

Protesters filled the streets on Saturday, marching at noon from Dolores Park to the Civic Center as part of the nationwide No Kings protests. Thousands of protests were organized across all 50 states as a rejection of President Donald Trumps agenda.

Protests large and small were set for Saturday throughout the Bay Area, from banner-hangings on overpasses, to major gatherings in San Jose’s St. James Park, and in Oakland’s Wilma

Hundreds marched again in San Francisco to protest the ongoing ICE raids in California, the second day of largely peaceful protests marred by incidents of violence and arrests.

Demonstrators who hoped to show peaceful support for immigrant rights protesters in Los Angeles wound up clashing with the police.

Motorists in two cities across the nation have struck “No Kings” protesters, according to multiple reports. Police detained two motorists whom they say intentionally drove into crowds of protesters in San Francisco, California and Culpeper, Virginia. There is no reason to believe the two incidents are connected.
