so why is The Dark Ages happening in a medieval setting - Reddit
They put a photograph in the Fortress of Doom showing his wife/child, and put hallucinations of Daisy in each level. All things that harken back to his original past, but never take you out of the present. I suspect The Dark Ages will be similar. I wouldn’t call it medieval, really.

Oct 29, 2020 · The painting is just a painting, it doesn't confirm that Daisy is alive, but I do believe she does physically appear in the game. There's a few possible explanations. One, Daisy is dead and her apperance in Eternal is just an ester egg. Two, it's a different bunny Three, Daisy is supernatural and somehow survived/resurrected, which would be cool

The Dark Ages is meant to bridge the gap between the ending of Doom 64 (when Doomguy locked himself in Hell to keep fighting) and the start of Doom 2016 (when the Doom Slayer wakes up from the sarcophagus).

Ehhhhhhh until you get a cutscene where the character is out of armor... you can easily pretend it's a girl in the armor like Samus from the original NES game. Personally I'd love for a mod to let me play as 'Daisy Doom' from the web comic in Eternal.

Jun 10, 2024 · he is a normal dude in the dark ages. well im just assuming we'll play as pre-buffed slayer in dark ages. then at the end of the game, we probably see the buffing scene from eternal, and we become that super weapon the description talks about.
