Imo they honestly should have waited to do a 3rd game for killing the dark lord, and then devote DLCs to like expanding lore like what happened between 2016 and Eternal or something. Just seems like a big event for an add on

Aug 10, 2018 · Was wondering if iD will redesign the cyberdemon for Eternal since the teaser showed imps with big spikey backs and classic demons that are 100% recognizable. Cyberdemon is really the only one that stands out, so heres my take in the style of concepts out of an art book. Pls enjoy my lil bonus doomguy #MidriffOrRiot

Nov 10, 2021 · There's a reason why i say that classic Doom modders and certain trivia nerds are more invested in the setting than lore Youtubers. Art direction has some cool ideas but you can also see certain faults, particularly certain trends that remind you of how AAA Doom is when its identity was born out of a B-Movie style production/premise.
