As a Karuk tribal member, it’s an incredible experience getting to film the Paddle Tribal Waters first descent down the Klamath River. At the headwaters last Thursday, I was overjoyed to see the group of young Indigenous kayakers take off for their 30-day journey that spans more than 300 miles.
