Adding a Game Over “Overlay” to my Flappy Bird IRL Game ••• At this point in the project, I got a little carried away and decided that the game needed a secondary overlay for the game over- I went with an underlay instead, but the idea is there- When you lose, the underlay is revealed using a flush door that slides on a track. The whole thing is driven by a rack and pinion. To get both the backward and sideways motion, the rack slides laterally (backwards) across the pinion as it rolls sideways.
