Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd released a statement condemning political violence after the shooting and murder of elected legislators in Minnesota. During an interview with FOX 13's Evan Axelbank, Judd said he felt the need to release a statement to recognize the "evil, contemptuous act." Sheriff Grady Judd is briefing the media regarding a deputy-involved shooting which occurred late Saturday morning, February 26, 2022 near Winter Haven. No deputies were injured, and the suspect (who had been armed) was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
