Today we reflect on the life and legacy of SNCC Legacy Project Civil Rights activist and organizer Dorie Ann Ladner. Dorie Ladner was born in Hattiesburg Mississippi, on June 28, 1942. In high school, she joined the NAACP Youth Council beginning a life-long involvement in human rights activity. In this interview with her sister Joyce, they discuss organizing for the March on Washington with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).
