Ballymageough Accordion! Ballymageough is a townland located two miles outside of Kilkeel, County Down. The band was formed as a flute band in 1892, but changed to a full, part playing accordion band in 1952. The band maintained this musical standard under our first two band masters Alec Girvan and Bertie Sloan, with NIBA competition success in the 1950s. In the new millennium, Ballymageough's current band master James Morris was appointed and their current uniforms were purchased in 2009. Bally
