Willis is a Shih Tzu/Yorkshire Terrier mix who arrived at Lily’s Haven more than two years ago. He was so terrified that he was virtually untouchable. Our rehab team has patiently worked with Willis and while he still needs some behavioral rehabilitation, he is making strides. Yanni is a Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix. When he first came to us, he was very scared and did not want to be touched. He has come a long way with the help of our rehab team in that he has started to learn he likes love and affection. In a calm, patient, all adult home, he will continue to blossom and become more confident. Outside time is one of his favorite things and he loves to explore around with his buddies. Walking on a leash is still a bit of a struggle for him at times, but he is getting it. Y

PUP LEADS CHASE ON HIGHWAY: It took seven minutes before someone could finally catch up to "Astro," a one-year-old Shih Tzu-poodle mix, who started a cat-and-mouse game on a busy highway after his owner was in a car accident.
